Gabbar Is Back V/s Baby Box Office Business
The next hit film is Varun Dhawan’s “Badlapur”, followed by Ranbir Kapoor’s “Roy”. With “Gabbar Is Back” release, trade analysts are expecting that the film will do wonders at the box office. “Baby” is the highest grosser, but the film failed to earn 100 crore in its lifetime run. The box office run of “Baby” ended at Rs.95 crore. “Roy”, which was the next big release failed to cross the 50 crore mark, while “Badlapur” crossed 50 crore mark. The box office performance of “Gabbar Is Back” depends highly on its review and word of mouth. Recently, several movies, including big budget films have flopped at the box office owing to not-so-great reviews. But since the pre-release buzz is positive, the film might have a good start and end the dry spell. “Gabbar Is Back” is helmed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. The film will hit screens on Labour Day holiday, i.e. on 1 May.
