The film marks her acting debut in Malayalam. “White,” which has already impressed the audience with its trailer, songs, blooper video and the megastar’s stylish avatar, also stars Siddique, KPAC Lalitha and Sunil Sukhada in significant roles.

The film has locked horns with the small budget movie, “Kismath,” which has comedian Abi’s son Shane Nigam and model Shruthy Menon in lead roles. The film narrates the real life love story of a Muslim boy and a Dalit girl that made news in 2011 in Ponnani, Malappuram. The movie had good pre-release among audience and has received superb response after the release on domestic as well as overseas box office. The performances of Mammootty as his all three characters are mind blowing. This one has released in Malayalam language also and has reported well across Kerala despite Malayalam movie Kismath. It has been a long time since we have seen Mammootty in a romantic drama, and White provides him with an opportunity to tackle the genre once again. White also has the specialty of being Huma Qureshi’s Mollywood debut. White is told through Roshni, played by Huma Qureshi, who is sent to London for a work assignment. A chance encounter with Prakash Roy, played by Mammootty, changes her life forever. His eccentricity first repels her, but slowly makes her curious about him and makes her even fall for him.
