Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (TEPK) 7th Day Collection, Akshay Kumar Starrer Passes 1st Week Excellently

Last Friday released much awaited Hindi offering Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has completed its one week journey on box office excellently. The movie started on a decent note but picked up well afterward and remained strong throughout the opening week. Being superstar Akshay Kumar starrer, this satirical comedy drama was released with immense excitement of audience and as expected received favorable response across the country as well as overseas.

The actor has impressed everyone and once again proved his versatility by playing his role. Along with him, Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher have also performed wonderfully and are being praised by viewers. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has received very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers and as a result gained strong word of mouth.

In the opening weekend, Shree Narayan Singh’s directorial recorded overall excellent occupancy and did the business of 51.45 crores from Indian screens, which was including 13.10 crores of Friday, 17.10 crores of Saturday and 21.25 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, asusual Toilet: Ek Prem Katha faced considerable drops but still managed to remain steady.

Now Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is running in weekdays and still getting good response across the country. On Monday due to partial holiday, it minted the amount of 12 crores. Then on Tuesday there was a holiday due to Independence Day, so Akshay-Bhumi starrer once again took excellent jump and raked 20 crores.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday being normal working day, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha witnessed around 46% of drop than Monday and added the amount of 6.50 crores to it’s account. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie witnessed more than 5% of drop as compare to previous day and collected the amount of 6.10 crores, which has made its one week total collection as 96.05 crores on domestic box office.
