Superstar Salman Khan’s recent offering Tiger Zinda Hai is continuing with its dream run across the country as well as overseas. Being year’s highly awaited movie, it has been released with enormous buzz and as expected getting overwhelmed response audience. From critics also, the movie has received super positive reviews, which have generated strong word of mouth about it and attracting more audience toward theaters.
Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to 2012’s Ek Tha Tiger, is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for Yash Raj Films. It stars Katrina Kaif opposite Salman. Both Salman and Katrina reprised the roles of Indian and Pakistani spies, who in this film are on a joint mission to save Indian and Pakistani nurses, held hostage in Iran by a terrorist group.
In the opening weekend, Tiger Zinda Hai recorded incredible performance and did the phenomenal business of 114.93 crores, which included 35.30 crores of Friday, 34.10 crores of Saturday and 45.53 crores of Sunday. Now the movie is running in weekdays and still remained very strong on box office globally. On Monday, it reported almost normal than Friday and raked the business of 36.54 crores.
Then on Tuesday, Salman Khan starrer faced slight more drop and added the impressive amount of 21.60 crores. On the next day i.e. Wednesday with further decline, it minted the amount of 17.55 crores and made its 6 days total collection as 190.62 crores on domestic box office. After Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan has Remo D’Souza’s Race 3 to look forward to.
Race 3 also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hedge, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Also recently film producers Bhushan Kumar and Atul Agnihotri, on the occasion of Salman Khan’s 52nd birthday, announced that they have joined hands as co-producers of the Bollywood superstar’s new film Bharat, to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
