These positive reactions have generated strong word of mouth for Tiger Zinda Hai and attracting more audience toward theaters. Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to 2012’s Ek Tha Tiger, is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for Yash Raj Films. It stars Katrina Kaif opposite Salman. Both Salman and Katrina reprised the roles of Indian and Pakistani spies, who in this film are on a joint mission to save Indian and Pakistani nurses, held hostage in Iran by a terrorist group.

Now, comes the storm! Tiger Zinda Hai in its first 4 days has crossed the lifetime collections of biggies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Jolly LLB 2, Tubelight, Kaabil, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Raees and Judwaa 2. The power of the film is visible as it has already crossed 7 major films withing 4 days of it release. Tiger Zinda Hai stands at the grand total of 151.47 crores and has crossed Judwaa 2.

In the opening weekend, the movie had performed tremendously and did the phenomenal business of 114.93 crores, which includes 34.10 crores of Friday, 35.30 crores of Saturday and 45.53 crores of Sunday. Now it has entered in weekdays and reported nominal drop than Friday and added the impressive amount of 36.54 crores to its account.

On the next day i.e. Tuesday, Yash Raj Films’s recent Hindi presentation witnessed slightly lower occupancy than Monday and collected the amount of 21.60 crores to make its 5 days total as 173.07 crores. The target of 200 crore club at the Indian box office is also not far away for Tiger Zinda Hai. It would be interesting to see whether it can surpass Salman Khan’s highest grossing movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the Indian box office.
