Tiger Zinda Hai 2nd Day Collection, Salman-Katrina Starrer Remains Strong on Saturday

As expected the superstar Salman Khan’s latest offering Tiger Zinda Hai has taken a gigantic start on box office. The movie has been released with enormous hype among audience and getting overwhelmed response across the globe. It has received very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, which have generated strong word of mouth about it and attracting more audience toward theaters.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger and resumes the story eight years after from where the first part was ended. Yash Raj Films’ new venture has high octane action and the outstanding performances given by Salman & Katrina.

On the opening day, Tiger Zinda Hai made a phenomenal entry on box office. It has reported the occupancy of overall 83% across 4600 screens of the country and minted the amount of 34.10 crores, which is the second biggest opening of the year so far. Also it has acquired the second position among Salman Khan’s third highest opening day grosser movies so far.

Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, due to holiday the movie started slightly lower but picked up very well from noon and raked the business of 33.30 crores. With this, total 2 days collection of Tiger Zinda Hai has become 69.40 crores domestically and positively expected to cross 100 crores by this weekend.

With no other film in competition, Tiger Zinda Hai is expected to break various records at the box office. On the other work front, Salman Khan has Remo D’Souza’s Race 3 and another film with Ali Abbas Zafar’s titled as Bharat. Whereas Race 3 will release on Eid next year, Bharat is slated to release on Eid 2019.

Katrina is shooting for Aamir Khan & Amitabh Bachchan’s Thugs Of Hindostan which is Diwali 2018 release. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai released yesterday and also feature an ensemble cast of Paresh Rawal‌, Girish Karnad, Kumud Mishra and Angad Bedi.
