Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai has been running strong at the box office. It has been continuing its blockbuster tag with each passing day. Tiger Zinda Hai has become Salman’s highest grossing film of all time. It has crossed the lifetime collections of Salman’s previous top grosser film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320.34 crore). The film has entered its fourth week and it has collected a whopping amount of 322.55 crore.
In its opening week, this action thriller witnessed phenomenal response at box office through out and raked the business of 206.04 crores on domestic box office, including 114.93 crores of weekend and 91.11 crores of weekdays. In its second week too, the movie remained very strong and did the business of 85.51 crores, that was included 48.71 crores of weekend and 36.80 crores of weekdays.
Then in the third week, Tiger Zinda Hai lost some of its pace but still registered good business of 27.31 crores domestically, with 17.61 crores of weekend and 9.70 crores of weekdays. Now the movie is running in the fourth week and again showed impressive jumps in its business over the fourth weekend despite the new Hindi offering Kaalakaandi, Mukkabaaz and 1921.
On 4th Friday, it faced 31% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 1.46 crore. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, Tiger Zinda Hai received 53% of jump and added the amount of 2.12 crores to its account. On Sunday, with slight rise it minted the amount of 3.27 crores and made its 24 days total collection of 325.71 crores domestically.
Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger which was released in 2012 and it was a super hit then too. After five long years, we got to see Salman and Katrina romancing on-screen which was a major advantage for all the SalKat fans!
