Tiger Zinda Hai 17th Day Collection, Passes 3rd Weekend on a Superb Note

In a year that saw a large number of 100 crore hits/superhits, only a solitary 200 crore blockbuster [Golmaal Again] and a surprise 500 crore ‘baahu-buster’ [Baahubali: The Conclusion], it is Tiger Zinda Hai which has managed to achieve a superb feat to become a 300 crores blockbuster.

In the opening week, YRF’s this recent presentation had recorded tremendous response and registered the impressive business of 206.04 crores from Indian screens, which was included 114.93 crores of weekend and 91.11 crores of weekdays. Then in its second week too, Tiger Zinda Hai remained excellent and did the business of 85.50 crores, with 48.71 crores of weekend and 36.79 crores of weekdays.

After 2 weeks, total domestic collection of the movie was calculated as 291.54 crores. Now Tiger Zinda Hai is running in the third week and again enjoyed higher occupancy in third weekend. On the 3rd Friday, it faced only 27% of drop than previous day and managed to collect 3.72 crores.

Then on Saturday, it witnessed superb growth and added the amount of 5.62 crores to its account. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reported more growth and minted the amount of 8.27 crores, which has made its 17 days total collection as 309.16 crores domestically.

2018 would be quite exciting now for both Salman Khan and Aamir Khan since they have Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan lined up. Former is an Eid release while latter arrives on Diwali. One is a franchise and another comes from the Dhoom: 3 team [Yash Raj Films, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vijay Krishna Acharya].
