6 Days Collection of The Great Father
Haneef Adeni directorial movie The Great Father is running smoothly at box office in weekdays too. The movie has received positive reviews from critics and still collecting nice figures worldwide. Audience find its very entertaining and again the well star-casted action formula is working. Critics appreciated the glad performance of Mammootty in the movie.
In the first weekend, it was done the business of total 20.01 crores on Indian screens that includes 4.31 crores of Thursday, 5.50 crores of Friday and 3.85 crores of Saturday and 6.35 cr on Sunday. From Monday, The Great Father has been entered in weekdays and started facing drops in its business. It was minted the amount of 2.45 crores as its 5th day collection.
On Tuesday it recorded slightly less occupancy than previous day and made the collection of 1.85 crores*, taking its total collection to 24.31 crore* on box office. Now, the team of Mohanlal’s upcoming movie 1971 Beyond Borders is gearing up to beat the records of The Great Father with the Major Ravi directorial set to release in over 200 theatres across the state.
We also hear that the film emerged as the biggest release in the industry till date, as it was screened in about 202 theatres on its release date, breaking the record set by Pulimurugan, which was released in 160 screens in the state. The film written and directed by debutant Haneef Adeni also features Sneha, Arya, Shaam, Baby Anikha, Mia George, Malavika Mohanan and IM Vijayan in other prominent roles.
