Breakup Song from ADHM Moive

We all have those songs in our playlist which we hear when we feel low and melancholy because we had a fight or broken up with our partner. The songs typically are slow, sad or ‘sufi’ types. Get ready, because Karan Johar just might change your perception about the kind of songs to listen to to get over your ex or the break-up! After releasing three back to back chart busters, the makers have rolled out the much awaited and what is being touted as the ‘Breakup Song’ of the year!

Breakup is the new cool, tweets the filmmaker. Karan had earlier treated his fans a small glimpse of what the song is going to be like,n Twitter and trust us, it is nothing like a break-up song you have heard before. In the song, we see Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the middle of a crazy party, having a lot of fun. The foot-tapping number has quirky lyrics and will immediately get you grooving. The song redefines all the ways you had known to get over a breakup until now!

The setup of the song is very similar to that of ‘You are my Soniya’ song from an earlier KJo movie, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and is sure to recreate the same magic again, with Ranbir and Anushka replacing Hrithik and Kareena. Arijit Singh, known for hus soulful romantic numbers has sung this crazy breakup number, taking the unconventional route. The song has a rap segment helmed by Badshah which gives it the modern touch. All in all, the song with Ranbir and Anushka shows us how to celebrate break ups by partying like there’s no tomorrow!

The previously released three songs from the movie are topping the chartbusters anmely, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (title track), Bulleya (featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir) and Channa Mereya with Anushka and Ranbir. The trailer and songs from the flick have been doing really well on various platforms. Directed by Karan Johar, the film is about one-sided love, breakup and friendship. It will release this Diwali, on October 28.
