Tevar 13th Day Box Office Collection:
“Tevar” starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, is struggling in its second week too at the box office. After the new released of movie such as Alone, Crazy Cukkad Family, Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene has effected collections of movie Tevar in 2nd weekend. The film, which minted around Rs.35 crore in its first week, witnessed a drop in its collections even in the second weekend. The film’s performance at the domestic box office till its second weekend sums up to Rs.38.20 crore, collecting Rs.1 crore on second Friday, Rs.1.05 crore on second Saturday and Rs.1.15 crore on second Sunday. “Tevar,” which hit the screens on 9 January, carried positive pre-release buzz, but the film failed to live up to the expectations and faring ordinarily at the box office. “Tevar” does not seem to have garnered too many positive responses from the audience and critics and hence, this could be one of the reasons why this Amit Sharma directorial film with a superb star cast could not manage to pull in the crowd. Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha’s “Tevar” has had a disappointing second weekend run at the domestic box office. The film, which minted around Rs.35 crore in its first week, has witnessed a drop in its collections even in the second weekend. The action-drama is said to have raked in around Rs.38.20 crore in eleven days at the domestic box office. “Tevar” experienced the expected drop on its second Tuesday. The film collected merely Rs.50 lakh on its 13th day collection. The film is running in over 400 screens which is decent but it is not capitalizing much. It has shown a huge drop in the mass circuits and over all the urban centers too have failed to pick up. The film starring Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles has had a disappointing run at the box office. “Tevar” was expected to perform well at the mass circuits but the film under-performed. Also with negative reviews, the film could not acquire any positive buzz. Considering that Akshay Kumar’s “Baby” releases this week, it is certain that “Tevar” will have a cutdown of its screen count and soon the film will fold.
