NTR's Temper Movie Upcoming Posters (2)Junior NTR’s “Temper” has done brilliant business at the worldwide box office in 10 days, but it has failed to beat the collection records of “Gopala Gopala”, “Race Gurram” and “Govindudu Andarivadele” (GAV) in the Nizam region. The film distribution area, Nizam, has a large number of cinema halls and it gets highest amount of revenue to films when compared to other regions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. So it has been considered as very important area for film marketing. The distribution rights of any big-ticket film for this area will be in great demand and such movies will be released in over 250 screens in the area alone. Like another big-ticket Telugu movie, “Temper” was also released in nearly 300 screens in Nizam and got superb response in all the theatres. The movie has collected Rs.9.70 crore nett in this area in 10 days, according Andhra Box Office. Trade experts feel that this is a record-breaking collection for Junior NTR film in the region. “Temper” has become the highest grosser for Junior NTR, smashing the life-time records of his previous releases “Rabhasa”, “Ramayya Vasthavayya”, “Brindavanam” and “Dhammu”, which have collected Rs.6.90 crore, Rs.8.90 crore, Rs.8.30 crore and Rs.8.20 crore respectively in the area in their life time.

The movie collected approximately Rs.38+ crore at the worldwide box office in the first week. In its second week, “Temper” lost out on a large number of screens to new releases like “Bandipotu”, “Gayakudu” and a couple of dubbed movies. Despite facing tough competition from new films, the Puri Jagannath-directed action flick is maintaining its rock-steady pace. The movie collected approximately Rs.1 crore at the worldwide box office on its 12 day. Its 12-day global collection now stands at Rs.48.50 crore nett. The Junior NTR-Kajal Aggarwal starrer needs Rs.1.50 crore to surpass the Rs.50 crore mark.
