Tamasha 8th Day Box Office Collection
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer “Tamasha” box office collection continues to drop at the box office, but even with the slow pace, the film has managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in India. “Tamasha”, directed by Imtiaz Ali, earned approximately Rs 50.69 crore in its six-day run in India. The business of Ranbir-Deepika was decent during its opening weekend, but it started to drop from its fourth day onwards. However, the film has performed better than several other releases of this year. With Rs 50 crore net income, “Tamasha” has shattered the lifetime box office collection records of Varun Dhawan’s “Badlapur” and Kapil Sharma’s debut film “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon”. Till the end of its 7th day, total domestic collection of Tamasha in one week is recorded as 53.46 crore.
Varun’s “Badlapur” earned Rs 50.07 crore in its four-week run, while Kapil’s “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon” minted Rs 49.38 crore. After smashing the records of “Badlapur” and “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon”, “Tamasha” has become Bollywood’s 14th highest grosser of 2015. The next target of “Tamasha” is to break the Rs 54.19 crore mark set by Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film “Phantom”. In other news, the lead actor of the film Ranbir, who was praised for his performance in “Tamasha”, said that it is his responsibility to give “good films” to his fans.
The Box Office Report of Tamasha is quite good. As in past few months no movie is as successful as it. Tamasha is grossing good profit and positive response from the audience. It has grossed very awesome figures even after the weekend. Considering today also as a weekday, which is generally taken as business days and lagging in collections but still it has managed to maintain the excitement among the viewers to rush into the cinema for watching the film. With such a wonderful one week performance on box office, even the 8th day has come out to be good business maker on the big screen.
Looking to present Bollywood Box Office Statistics, 8th Day Box Office Collection of Tamasha is around 1.42 Crores making the grand total of 8 days to stand at 54.88 Crores. The Budget of Tamasha is around Rs. 40 Crores (approx.) and it has recovered its manufacturing cost just in first weekend. Although, Tamasha is moving forward to touch the figure of Rs. 60 Crores very soon if its enables the same level of craze among the audience for the film.
