Surya V/s Surya Third Day Box Office Collection
Nikhil Siddhartha’s “Surya Vs Surya” has opened to an overwhelming response at the Indian box office. “Surya Vs Surya” has been released in over 500 screens worldwide with clean “U” certificate. The Telugu movie has seen the light of the day in India on Thursday, 5 March. The movie on its opening day has grossed Rs.3 Crore in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh alone and the makers are now eagerly waiting for the All India and overseas reports of the movie. His previous two outings “Swamy Ra Ra” and “Karthikeya” were crime-comedy and supernatural thrillers, and proved to be big hits at the box office. But on its second-day collections witnessed a huge drop, and minted around Rs.2 crore share on the second day, taking its two days total to Rs.5 crore. With the inclusion of collections from Karnataka, Rest of India and overseas markets, “Surya vs Surya” has minted Rs.7.5 crore in two days at box offices worldwide.

“Surya vs Surya” has witnessed massive collections on Sunday. The film is expected to rake in approximately Rs.2.75 crore nett at the domestic box office on its third day. The movie which is running tax free in Andhra Pradesh had bagged mixed reviews from critics. Even then Nikhil Siddhartha was much appreciated for his performance and effort. Music by Satya Maheveer is seen as one of the major highlight of this typical mass masala action flick. “Surya vs Surya” is a romantic thriller that deals with a rare genetic disorder, Porphyria. Karthik Ghattamaneni, who has earlier handled the cinematography for “Swamy Ra Ra” and “Karthikeya“, is the independent director of this movie.
