Sultan Advance Tickets Booking Report: Gets Huge Response in Mumbai, Bangalore and Other Regions

Sultan Advance Booking is Open Now

Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sultan is all set to release on Wednesday over the auspicious occasion of Eid. The film’s advance bookings have commenced from today and the responses have been terrific. For the first time, shows have started to get housefull for day one within just two hours of the start of sale of tickets. The film is enjoying as much as 14 shows in a day at the multiplexes. Most night shows for the opening day have already been sold out. Some multiplexes are ‘only’ playing Sultan which is a record of sorts.

Sultan Advance Bookings Open To A Huge Response

Considering that the response has been so high since today morning itself, we are expecting the film to enjoy a good housefull occupancy in major centers on day one. The ticket prices are in the range of Rs. 200-500, with the higher limit going for the night shows. A more detailed insight into the advance bookings will be reported soon. Anyhow,  Salman Khan‘s Sultan is one of the actor’s most ambitious film and he has worked very hard for it. He has put his health at risk and bulked up to play a wrestler.

He has also performed insane stunts and action sequences for the film. After breaking records with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, we are sure he wants to create new records with Sultan.  And for that, Salman and Yash Raj Films are booking almost all the screens in India. Yes, buzz is that the makers have booked nearly 5000 screens across India. Though we cannot confirm this number right now, this is quite possible. In fact, this would mean that Sultan would have the widest Bollywood release ever in India.

Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan had the widest release last Eid when it released in about 4500+ screens. However, with 5000 screens, Sultan would break a record even before its release. We reached out to our trade experts for confirming this piece of news and this is what they had to say. If it does achieve to screen in 5000 screens, Sultan will surely break all the records in the first week itself. The current opening day record is held by Shah Rukh Khan‘s Happy New Year (Rs 44.97 crore) and the highest opening weekend grosser is held by Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (129.77 crore). Though breaking such records will be a tough task, our trade experts feel that Sultan will cross them easily.
