Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 26th Day Collection, Crosses 100.60 Cr Total Domestically

Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh’s film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety finally makes it to the 100 crore club. The film released on 28th Feb with Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh’s Welcome To New York. The film has been an unstoppable affair at the box office from then till now.

The film faced competition from Anushka Sharma’s Pari, Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaary and Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor’s PadMan but the film remained rock steady even after these releases. The whole cast and makers would be jumping in joy right now! Their hard work and amazing content have worked tremendously well at the box office.

T-Series’ this recent presentation has performed excellently in its early weeks and now heading decently opposite to new releases. In the opening, this comedy drama witnessed amazing occupancy throughout and did the business of 45.94 crores from around 1650 screens across India. In the second week too, the movie remained strong and managed to score 29.77 crores.

In the third week despite much anticipated Pari had enough hold over audience and added the decent amount of 17.93 crores to its account. Now the movie is running in its fourth week and had period drama Raid in opposite. In this week, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety garnered the business of total 5.70 crore, which was including 1.27 crore of Friday, 2.11 crore of Saturday and 2.32 crore of Sunday.

After 24 days of release, total collection of Luv Ranjan’s directorial SKTKS was recorded as 114.47 crores. Once again it is weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters than before. On 4th Monday, the movie faced 40% of drop than Friday and raked the amount of 0.76 crore. On the next day, with little jump it minted the amount of 0.78 crore and made its 26 days domestic total as 100.88 crores.
