Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 13th Day Collection, Crosses 73 Crores Total at Domestic Box Office

Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which released a couple of weeks ago, is ‘unshakeable’ at the box office. Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh’s Welcome To New York, which also stars Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh, released along with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. However, Welcome To New York failed to impress the cine-goers.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 13th Day Collection, Crosses 72 Crores Total at Domestic Box Office

Due to good recall value, this comedy drama opened to a solid note and took remarkable jump over the weekend. By remaining strong throughout the weekdays, the movie registered the business of 45.94 crores in the first week that included 26.57 crores of weekend and 19.37 crores from 1650 screens in India.

Then in the second weekend as well, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety got succeed to manage steady pace and did the business of 19.40 crores, that included 5.83 crores of Friday, 6.55 crores of Saturday and 7.02 crores of Sunday. After 10 days of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 65.35 crores.

Once again the movie is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before but still has good hold over the audience. With approx. 20.67% of drop than Friday, it minted the amount of 2.71 crores on 2nd Monday, while 2.62 crores on 2nd Tuesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, SKTKS witnessed slight drop and bagged the amount of 2.59 crore.

With this, total collection of Luv Ranjan’s directorial has become 73.26 crores at domestic box office. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is Luv Ranjan’s fourth film with Kartik Aaryan and Nusrat Bharucha, after Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Akaash Vani and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which also starred Sunny Singh. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety got succeed to entertain all the viewers and received mostly positive reviews. As a result, the film still has a good hold over the audience across the country.
