It was also rumoured that Eros International had bagged its global theatrical rights for a whopping price and sold the area-wise rights to local distributors. Later, reports said Eros is also part of the film’s production team. Ever since then, speculations about the Hindi version of “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” started doing the rounds.

Bollywood critics Anupama Chopra’s interview with Pawan Kalyan further fuelled these rumours. It was reported the interview was a part of the promotional strategies of Pawan Kalyan.  “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” is the sequel of the 2012’s hit action comedy film “Gabbar Singh,” which was a remake of Salman Khan’s “Dabangg”. Besides production and acting, Pawan Kalyan has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie, which has Bobby aka KS Ravindra’s direction, Devi Sri Prasad’s music and Arthur A Wilson’s cinematography.
