Sanam Teri Kasam Second Day Collection
Sanam Teri Kasam starring debutantes Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane has opened to a low occupancy for the morning shows. Releasing alongside Ghayal Once Again, this love story will have a stiff competition. The film has released in approximately 800 screens. Since the genre of the film is romantic, it does stand a fair chance and may even soar depending on positive word of mouth. Looking at the way the occupancy of the film has been, it seems it will open with a collection ranging from 2.50 crores*. The music of the film has been popular and it may work in favor of the film.
The film has been made on an extremely low budget of approximately 15 Crores (inclusive of all) in spite of such goods names associated with it and the makers are already in profits from the non theatrical avenues. The collections from theatrical run are a pure bonus for its makers. The movie needs to show good growth in the evening and night shows to come up with a decent first day total.
Either way Sanam Teri Kasam is getting good advantage from the failure of other Bollywood releases and also low competition in Hindi films. The Sanam Teri Kasam has seen a good rise in the business and by the end of second day of its release, total box office collection of the film on Saturday was 3.43 Crores*.Due to the opposite release Sunny Deol starrer Ghayal Once Again, it has faced heavy competition at box office and as expected lagging behind. But still stands with decent business as compare to its screen count.
Sanam Teri Kasam has not been able to generate any hype around itself and it does not boast any top star, which would have attracted their fan base. In terms of positives, Sanam Teri Kasam has received somewhat positive reviews and is expected to fare better at multiplexes; however the film will have to rely on strong word of mouth to make an impact at the box office. The film has Mawra Hocane and Harshwardhan Rane in leading roles. Sanam Teri Kasam is an intense love story of two diametrically opposite people Saraswathy Parthsarthy aka Saru (Mawra Hocane), a Tamilian Brahmin and her wealthy neighbour Inder (Harshwardhan Rane).
