Salman Khan shoots for a happy song in ‘Tubelight’
It has only been a month or so since Salman Khan completed the Manali schedule of Kabir Khan‘s next directorial venture titled Tubelight. The filmmaker has also teased the fans with quite a few stills from the upcoming movie. Recently, Kabir Khan shared two photographs from the sets of the film while Salman Khan was engrossed shooting a song sequence. He captioned it, “Shooting a happy song #tubelight #Eid2017 #behindthescenes #salmankhan.” Looking at the picture, it seems that Salman might be at a wedding or shooting a song related to Eid.
In the picture, Salman is seen in a celebratory mode as he dances among a group of children whose eyes are gleaming like a ‘tubelight’ with happiness. Now we can definitely credit some of this happiness to the excitement of featuring in a Salman Khan movie and the remaining may be the demand of the script. From what we can induce from the still, after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Sultan, Salman has once again stepped into the shoes of a good boy. The Dabangg Khan of Bollywood can be seen with his shirt properly tucked into his trousers and a half-sleeved sweater.
From the first look of the movie released by Kabir Khan, we know that Salman will be playing a soldier in Tubelight as he was seen dressed as a soldier walking with his fellow comrade with a gun and a backpack on the battlefield. It also shows tall mountain ranges of Ladakh in the background. Tubelight is set in the backdrop of 1962 war between China and India at the Sino-Indian border. In the movie, Salman is cast opposite a Chinese actor, Zhu Zhu. The movie is slated to release on Eid next year. So, till then we all can just wait to catch up with Salman’s some more glimpses from the movie.
