Saala Khadoos First Day Collection Report
Actor R Madhavan and Ritika Singh’s Bollywood movie “Saala Khadoos”, which has been simultaneously made in Tamil as “Irudhi Suttru”, has received positive reviews from audiences. “Saala Khadoos” is a sports drama film, which has been written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. Besides acting, R Madhavan has also jointly produced the movie with Rajkumar Hirani. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the movie, while Sivakumar Vijayan handled the cinematography. Adi Tomar (R Madhavan) had a dream to win the boxing gold for India, but he is banished from the national institute on the charges of sexual harassment.
When he is shattered, his friends come to his rescue and make him a boxing coach. Adi finds a 17-year-old poor girl (Ritika Singh), who is passionate about boxing. The rest of the movie traces their friendship and a journey towards an impossible dream. The audiences say Sudha Kongara Prasad has written an amazing story and engrossing screenplay for “Saala Khadoos”. The movie is loaded with punch dialogues and the favourite dialogue of many is: “Kaun kehta hai India me talent nahi hai, sports me se politics hata ke dekho, gali gali me champions milenge.”
As a boxing coach, actor R Madhavan has delivered brilliant performance and his intensity of emotions is the main highlight of “Saala Khadoos”. Boxer Ritika Singh, who is making her acting debut with this movie, has lot of scope of performance and she has done her best for her role. Mumtaz Sorcar, Nassar, Zakir Hussain and other supporting artistes’ performances are also big assets of the film, say the viewers. “Saala Khadoos” has rich production values and the music and picturisation are the big attractions in the technical front. Most of the film goers are impressed with the film and they took to their Twitter handles to share their verdict on the flick.
On its opening day the film has done a satisfactory business in comparison to the expected performance by the critics and audience as well. First Day favorable audience response and reviews have brought total Opening Day Income of around 8.5 Crores* to the film. The figure is not too high or low but it is capable of raking much more and it is expected to achieve this in the coming days of the weekend.
