Naga Chaitanya’s latest outing Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo (Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo (SSS), which was released in theatres on Friday, has garnered positive reviews and rich ratings from critics. Chinna (Naga Chaitanya) is a college student, who falls in love with his sister’s best friend Leela (Manjima Mohan). The couple goes on a long road trip on a bike, but an accident lands their lives in trouble with a dreaded gang attacking them. How Chinna rescue himself and his girlfriend Leela forms the crux of the story of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo.
Besides direction, Gautham Menon has also written the story of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo, which is a romantic action entertainer with enough twists and turns. Some romantic moments keep the audience entertained in the first half, while the story runs on a serious mode in the second half. The climax is thrilling. The slow-paced narration is one big drawback of the movie, say the critics. Naga Chaitanya has delivered a brilliant performance and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo is his show all the way.
The film with its interesting theme and suitable star cast manages to drive audience towards the cinema halls on its first day of release. Overall First Day Collection of SSS is 2.5 Crores* due to high audience response for the film. Manjima Mohan, who has forayed into Tollywood with this film, has done justice her role and her chemistry is one of the highlights.
Baba Sehgal and Sathish Krishnan’s performances are also among the big attractions of the film, say the critics. Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo, which has been bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, has superb production values. AR Rahman’s music, Dan Macarthur’s picturisation and punch dialogues are the attractions on the technical front, add the critics. We bring you some critics’ verdict and ratings.
