Rayudu 3rd Day Box Office Collection
Telugu movie “Rayudu”, which is the dubbed version of Vishal-Sri Divya starrer Tamil film “Marudhu,” has garnered mixed reviews and average ratings from film critics. “Rayudu” is an action entertainer movie that will appeal the mass audience. Besides direction, Muthiah has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie that deals with the relationship between grandmother and grandson. Telugu film critics say the film lacks a fresh story and it is high on Madarasi nativity of 1980s and 90s.
Bhagyam (Sri Divya) is the daughter of a fiery lady, who opposes a goon Rolex (RK Suresh) who is rising politically. Bhagyam falls in love with Rayudu (Vishal), a daily labourer working in the market yard. Rayudu comes to her rescue when Rolex threats to kill her. How he saves her from Rolex forms the crux of the story. Critics say the first half of “Rayudu” has nothing much to offer in terms of its story, but some commercial ingredients keep audience engaged. The actual story begins in the second half and the confrontation between the hero and the villain entertains the viewers. The climax fight is good.
Vishal has delivered commendable performance, which is the main highlight of “Rayudu.” Sri Divya’s performance and her chemistry with the male lead are other big attractions of the film. The movie has good production elements and music, cinematography and action scenes are the highlights on the technical front. “Rayudu” has been rated an average of 2.33 out of 5 stars by film critics.
