Raid 1st Day Collection Prediction, Ajay Devgn’s Film Ready to take a Good Opening

Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated film Raid is all set to take over the box office from Friday, 16 March. The previous major Hindi release, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety still has a good hold over the audience though, but that doesn’t seem like a hurdle in the journey of this content driven film directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.

Raid 1st Day Collection Prediction, Ajay Devgn’s Film Ready to take a Good Opening

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid stars Ileana D’Cruz, Saanand Verma and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles alongside in Ajay Devgn. With the trailer and music, the film has made a good impression over the audience and now most of them are excitedly looking forward to it’s release. The film is inspired by the the real life I-T raids that were conducted by Indian Revenue Services back in the ’80s.

Advance booking of Raid was been started from Tuesday in India. As per exhibitors, the movie has reported good pre-release on ticket windows. Fans of Ajay are showing immense excitement towards their favorite star’s new offering. Also critics have much positive expectations with it.

After good pre-booking, Raid is likely to get more than 45% of occupancy on opening day. With enormous stardom of Ajay, immense excitement of fans, positive interest of audience and wide screen count, it won’t be surprising if the movie collects the opening business of 9-10 crores domestically.

What also goes in favour of the film is the fact that audiences have started returning to theatres, as seen with back to back successes of Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmaavat, PadMan and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Also, except for the last film in this list, there is no other competition for Raid due to which it has the ground open for it to perform.

All that is needed is the film to indeed turn out to be a true dramatic encounter for the audience and that should set the ball rolling for it over the weekend and then days to come.
