Superstar Shahrukh Khan, ‘Raees’ has already lost almost all its hold over audience and now just crawling to add more figures to its account on box office. The movie was released three weeks ago on 25th of January among huge craze of fans as well as audience. Critics have also reviewed it with positive comments and showed thumbs to it. But still it was slowed down from the weekdays and failed to maintain its pace on Indian box office, as a result the revenge drama story Kaabil that was release on the same day, has dominated it before the end of the second week.


In this special report we take a look at the worldwide collections Raees while comparing the same to previously released films of 2017. Though the total worldwide collections of Raees fall short of crossing the Rs. 300 crore mark, the final tally is approximately Rs. 271.33 cr. However, despite this Raees still manages to feature as the highest worldwide grosser of 2017, managing to surpass the other releases this year like, Kaabil that collected Rs. 167.11 cr, Jolly LLB 2 that collected Rs. 88cr and Ok Jaanu that collected Rs. 39.19 cr.

Now the movie is running in its third week and witnessed dull response in the weekend due to new release Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2. It minted the amount of 1.65 crore in its third weekend, which was including 0.30 crore of Friday, 0.55 crore of Saturday and 0.80 crore of Sunday. After 19 days, total collection of Raees was recorded as 136.41 crores on domestic box office.

Once again, Rahul Dholakia’s directorial is in weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters. On Monday, it faced 20% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 0.24 crore* to its account, which has made its 20 days domestic total as 136.65 crores*. On the last day of the week, it has witnessed low response and collected the amount of 0.20 crore* as its 21st day collection. Till the end of its third week, total domestic collection of Raees is recorded as 136.85 crores*.
