10 Days Total Collection of SRK’s Raees
Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan has collected Rs 122.36 crore in domestic market. The film has collected Rs 245.56 crore in the overseas market. Shah Rukh Khan’s film, which released on January 25, has become the first film to enter Rs 100 crore in 2017. The film’s interesting balance between action and romance has won hearts of the audiences. However, this hasn’t stopped the actor from promoting his film extensively. After the release of the film, the actor visited Pune, Ahmedabad and turned heads with his visit to Amritsar’s Golden temple with AbRam.
Well, it seems the promotions are just working in favor of the actor as his film, Raees, has managed to make an incredible leap in comparison to Kaabil, starring Hrithik Roshan. While Raees stands at Rs 114 crore of business in the domestic market, Hrithik’s film has managed to cross Rs 90 crore. Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia and it also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
In the opening week, Raees was raked higher business than the adjacent one Kaabil and gave good lead to it. It was did the business of total 109.01 crores on Indian screens that includes 93.24 crores of weekend and 15.77 crores of weekdays. The day-wise collections are as follows- Wed 20.42 cr, Thu (Republic Day) 26.30, Fri 13.11 cr, Sat 15.61 cr, Sun 17.80 cr, Mon 8.25 cr, Tue 7.52 cr. Now the movie has entered in its second week and heading towards setting more records.
From the second week, Raees has started facing less audience in theaters than Kaabil. On its 2nd Wednesday, Raees witnessed slight more drop in its occupancy than previous day and added the amount of 6.50 crores to its account, With this, 8 days total domestic collection of the movie has become 115.51 crores. On the next day being working day, the movie recorded almost similar response and collected 6.25 crores. On Friday, it started the day on good note and raked the business of 6.60 crore. After its 10th day, total domestic collection of Raees is recorded as 128.96 crore.
