Finally the day is set to arrive. Salman Khan’s big release Race 3 is arriving in less than six months after his last Blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai. The film has everything going for it in terms of the star power, franchise quotient and of course the big screen appeal.
This is the kind of film that warrants a theatrical watch and with Tips going all out to promote it in a massive way, Race 3 is all over the news and rightly so. In a regular scenario, the film could well have aimed for a start of over 40 crore, more so since it is releasing on over 4000 screens and there is no competition from the past or present either.
Looking back to the previous records, Salman’s last offering Tiger Zinda Hai was released near Christmas and did the opening business of 34.10 crores from 4600 screens. Now talking about Race 3, it is releasing a day before Eid and on lower screens. But due to hiked ticket pricing and 3D-attraction, it can open at a similar range of 34-35 crores
With a lot of twists and turns, the third installment of the ‘Race’ series promises to be way better than the previous two parts. This time around, the movie is directed by ace choreographer Remo D’Souza, who has helmed films like ‘ABCD’ and ‘ABCD 2‘. Starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala, the movie is going to be a visual delight.
From Saturday’s evening, the movie will take a massive boost no matter how the early-viewers reacts. On Sunday also, Race 3 will enjoy heavy footfalls in theaters. All the reflection of reactions from critics & audience will show its result from weekdays. Although the early-reviews from Dubai are quite positive which is a very good sign.
