6 Days Total Collection of Raabta
This week’s recent offering from Hindi Cinema, Raabta has been released with much hype and expectations. But unfortunately it get failed to attract audience toward theaters. Unfavorable reviews from critics as well as audience, melted it’s hype down which can be seen in it’s flat business graph over the weekend.
On its very first day, Sushant Singh Rajput – Kriti Sanon starrer this romantic action drama reported very low occupancy across the country and did an average opening business of 5.61 crores. On the next day, being Saturday it was expected to take decent jump but the movie remained almost flat and registered the business of 5.11 crores only. Then with decent jump on day 3 and it minted the amount of 5.21 crores on Sunday also.
After the opening weekend, total collection of Raabta was recorded as 15.93 crores on domestic box office. Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser occupancy in theaters than weekend. On its first Monday, it faced massive fall of 55% than Friday and added the amount of 2.53 crore to its account.
On Tuesday with further drop, the movie managed to collect the amount of 2.25 crore. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it witnessed more decline and minted the amount of 2 crore, which has made its 6 days domestic total as 22.71 crores. Raabta is likely to end the week with near about 24 crores of business, which is very disappointing.
Raabta has seen some sort of traction at premium multiplexes at select urban centers. However, at an all-India level, it hasn’t quite managed to find footfalls. The film was released on a good count of screens which gave it a potential to bring in at least 15 crores on a daily basis in case of full occupancy.
