Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) 25th Day Collection – 4th Weekend Box Office Business Report

PRDP 25th Day Box Office Collection

One of the biggest movies of year 2015, PRDP has proved itself the all time blockbuster movie as it has crossed 400 Cr mark worldwide in just 16 days. Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo got great response from audience, not only in India but also in Overseas. This was already known and expected that the movie will break and create many records, and the good thing is that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has fulfilled all the expectations of audience. Now it is the 4th Week of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo at Box Office, and the movie is facing more tough competition than its third week because this Friday another Bollywood movie i.e. Hate Story 3 has been released out.

The opening of HS3 is very strong than PRDP and obviously it has snatched almost half screens of Tamasha and PRDP, so both are just trying to survive till the completion of their 4 weeks. Meanwhile, After the new releases took over a good chunk of the screens, PRDP slowed down at the multiplexes and also in urban centers like Mumbai which were the key centers where the film was performing well.

Salman Khan’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” continues to bring in cash for the makers of the film. The film completed its three-week run at the domestic box office on 4th Sunday with a net income of more than Rs 209 crore. At the worldwide box office, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” has grossed more than Rs 400 crore and is now the fifth highest grosser of all time. And now, the film is aiming to shatter the worldwide box office collection records of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express”.

“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” needs to earn more than Rs 423 crore to beat the lifetime box office earnings of “Chennai Express”. Meanwhile, the collection of the film will decline in its fourth week due to new releases. Erotic thriller “Hate Story 3” has opened to a good response in India. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo performed lower on the fourth weekend. The film collected approx 0.80 crore over the weekend and now stands with a total collection of 209.86 crores* at the domestic box office.
