Pink 7th Day Collection: First Week Performance on Indian Box Office

Pink One Week Box Office Collection

Pink, the colour, has got an all new definition now. And it is because of the phenomenal movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee in key roles. The film is winning hearts, touching lives and is going strong at box office on the sixth day of its release too. The film has already done a business of Rs 32.67 crore till now. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh called Pink “unstoppable”. He also mentioned the fact that despite it being middle of the week, the film’s collection is still rising. Taran tweeted the latest collections of the film saying:

#Pink Fri 4.32 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 9.54 cr, Mon 3.78 cr, Tue 3.51 cr, Wed 3.87 cr. Total: ₹ 32.67 cr. India biz. EXCELLENT!.#Pink is UNSTOPPABLE… Wed biz [3.87 cr] HIGHER than Tue [3.51 cr] and Mon [3.78 cr]… SUPERB… Now the question is, with another Friday approaching and two releases — Banjo and Parched — COMING UP, will the film’s collections be affected? Banjo stars Nargis Fakhri and Riteish Deshmukh while Parched starring Radhika Apte is also a women-centric film.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie reported considerable drop in its occupancy and estimated to add the amount of 3.24 crores to its account. With this, 7 days total collection of Pink is likely to become 35.91 crores on domestic box office. From this new week, number of Hindi movies are being released, let see how Shoojit Sircar’s this social thriller will perform opposite to Riteish Deshmukh’s Banjo and others.

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary, Pink stars Amitabh Bachchan in the role of a lawyer. The film was a box office clash with Emraan Hashmi-starrer Raaz Reboot — which had a better opening collection than Pink but failed to establish its hold.
