Phantom 7th Day Box Office Collection

Saif Ali Khan’s latest release “Phantom” is steadily making its way to the Rs 50 crore club. The action thriller, which opened to only Rs 8 crore on Friday, has managed to rake in more moolah at the box office in the consecutive days. So much so that within six days of its release, the Kabir Khan directorial has minted Rs 44 crore at the cash registers. The film collected almost Rs 33 crore on its opening weekend, but then took a sudden dip on Monday. Since then, it has managed to maintain only an average pace at the box office. Set against the backdrop of 26/11 attacks, Phantom has received mixed to negative reviews from the critics. But the hype, surrounding the film even before its release, has been able to pull crowds to the theatre. The film grabbed eyeballs ever since its trailer came out, and the ban on the release of the film in Pakistan only added to the buzz. Phantom revolves around a spy who takes up the task of assassinating the mastermind behind the 26/11 attacks. Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed earlier moved the court seeking a plea to ban the release of the film in Pakistan.
