Phantom 5th Day Box Office Collection
Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer “Phantom” had a decent fourth day at the box office. The film witnessed around 45% drop in its business on Monday as compared to opening day. The drop in the business is decent considering that it was the first working day. Kabir Khan’s directorial film has so far minted Rs 37.58 crore from its four-day box office run in India. Phantom started off decently and showed a good jump over Saturday and Sunday. The film brought in 33.18 crores form its first weekend but it was very much expected that the film will face a considerable drop on Monday. And as predicted, it witnessed a 50% drop. Phantom collected 4.05 crores* on its fifth day, thus taking its total to 41.63 crores* at the domestic box office. Action drama film “Phantom” also had a decent weekend, but the film failed to beat the record of Akshay Kumar’s “Baby”. Nevertheless, “Phantom” will have a good one week with Rs 50 crore income from India. The business of the film, which is based on global terrorism, went up during the opening weekend due to positive reviews and it is likely to remain steady during weekdays.
Phantom Tuesday Box Office Business
The film received mixed reviews from the critics and is running in theatres only on its star values. Based on terrorism, the film is not a typical entertainer to gather high footfalls. Also, since compared to the other small releases this week, the film had an upper hand for the weekend but it will not enjoy as much in the week days. Phantom is expected to make a first week collection of 50 crores. Phantom is the second movie of director Kabir Khan in this year after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and also his second movie with Katrina Kaif after Ek Tha Tiger. His latest venture Phantom is not enough capable to perform like these two but still doing good as compare to previous thriller movies of year 2015. Everyone liked the movie, especially the performance of most favorite actress in Bollywood Katrina Kaif, who is back after a year. The actress last seen last year in Bang Bang with Hrithik Roshan.
