PadMan 17th Day Collection, Akshay Kumar’s Film Passes 3rd Weekend Decently

Twinkle Khanna and KriArj Entertainment’s joint venture PadMan has passed its 3rd weekend on a decent note. 17 days back released this drama movie was received overwhelmed response from audience in early weeks and still has enough hold despite new releases Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Welcome To New York.

Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte starrer, it was released with huge excitement of fans and registered impressive business through out. In the opening Twinkle Khanna’s debut production recorded decent occupancy and did the business of 62.87 crores with 40.05 crores of weekend and 22.82 crores of weekdays.

Then in the second week too, it remained strong and scored 13.78 crores on the board, including 9.03 crores of weekend and 4.75 crores of weekdays. Now the movie is running in its third week and has new offering SKTKS in opposite. On its 3rd Friday, Akshay starrer reported almost 35% of drop than previous day and raked the amount of 0.50 crore.

Then on Saturday, due to weekend the movie showed some jump and added the amount of 0.80 crore to its account. With more growth on Sunday, PadMan done the business of 1 crore and made its 17 days total collection as 78.95 crores on domestic box office.

Akshay Kumar’s film has already become the first profitable film of 2018. It is made on a budget of 37 crores. PadMan is based on the real-life incident of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man whose initiative was to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.
