After all the controversies surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’, the film that finally released on January 25, 2018, managed to create history at the domestic and worldwide box-office. The film which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles, has been loved by the audience and critics and even found fans in legendary Bollywood actors.

Padmaavat 7th Day Collection, Crosses Over 155 Cr in 7 Days Domestically

Due to huge initial buzz, Padmaavat reported excellent occupancy in the opening weekend and registered the business of total 114 crores from 4000 screens in India, which had 5 crores of Wednesday, 19 crores of Thursday, 32 crores of Friday, 27 crores of Saturday and 31 crores of Sunday.

Now Sanjay Leela Bhanshali’s directorial is running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser audience in theaters than before. On Monday, it faced around 21% of drop than Thursady and did the business of 15 crores. Then on Tuesday, with further declination the movie added the amount of 14 crores to its account.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Padmaavat reported some drop and minted the amount of 12.50 crores, which has made its 7 days domestic total as 155.50 crores. Moreover, it also pretty much indicates that the film’s word of mouth has been largely positive and anything average or below is not making any difference whatsoever to its fortunes.

To continue scoring in double-digit is a huge feat indeed for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and now it is a given that the trending would stay on till Thursday at least.
