Second Day Collection of Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor
One of the most promising directors in Indian cinema, Sunhil Sippy’ recent directorial venture Noor has started on a dull note. Till last week, it was Begum Jaan [3.94 crore]. However, Noor has gone even below with just 1.54 crore coming in. So much so that it is even lesser than The Ghazi Attack which was actually a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual, had a limited release, minimal promotion and still gathered 1.65 crore.
Very impactful performances of Sonakshi, Kanan Gill, Manish Chaudhary & more, make Noor a power-packed entertainer. However, Noor doesn’t carry any such hopes since the film found minimum occupancy on Friday even with a good release, has largely below average reviews going for it and isn’t carrying good word of mouth either.
On the opening day, Noor started the day on a low note but after getting positive reactions from audience, it picked up well from evening shows. It recorded the overall occupancy of 20% on Day 1 and registered the opening business of 1.54 crores across the country from 1450 screens.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, being weekend and due to positive word of mouth, Noor opened up with little better than Friday and again picked up well from evening. As per the report, it has done the business of 1.89 crores on domestic box office. With this, 2 days net total collection of the movie has become 3.43 crores.
