NH10 8th Eighth Day Collection – 2nd Friday Box Office Business Report

NH10 2nd Friday Box Office Business

nh10Anushka Sharma’s debut production venture NH10 has been doing good business, and the with theme being women centric, it has been garnering a positive response from all quarters. With the hype and good promotions, NH10 has seen much success in its first week. In this Box Office report, we take a look at the collections of NH10 collections while comparing it to the previous releases of the year. With its rave reviews and acceptance by the masses, the film is the fifth highest grosser with a collection of Rs. 20.62. Considering that the film is still running strong in theatres and also the slow start of this week’s releases, NH10 has the potential to hold its position at the box office in the coming weekend. NH 10 should emerge the top film for another week unless one of the new releases find appreciation. The collections of NH 10 may drop on Friday as is the case most of the time on the second Friday but it should make ground on Saturday and Sunday.

NH10 8th Day Box Office Collection

Anushka Sharma can continue to smile. Her first ever female centric film with her as the main protagonist has been accepted by the target audience. After a good weekend that saw some constant escalation in footfalls with every passing day, rest of the week went well too for the Navdeep Singh directed affair with not much of a fall. Though there were apprehensions if the ‘adults only’ with a dark and disturbing theme and quite some violence may see some jitters during the weekdays, this wasn’t the case as NH10 ruled from the top in terms of collections. As a result, around 20.62 crore came in, which brings this moderately budgeted film into the green zone. The film has started making profits and numbers would continue to trickle in as there is no major release for the rest of the month. Though one waits to see how far does the film go from this point on, it would be interesting if NH10 continues to gather pace and target Rani Mukherji’s Mardaani which had managed Rs 35 crore for itself. However Sonam Kapoor’s Khoobsurat, a much more frothy Rs 30 crore affair, and Ali Bhatt’s Highway (Rs 29 crore) could be definite milestones to overcome. Now, today is the 2nd Friday and the film collected Rs 1.30 Crore approx.
