NH10 5th Fifth Day Collection – Tuesday Box Office Business Report

NH10 Fifth Day Box Office Collection

NH-10Anushka Sharma starrer ‘NH10′ box office collections finally managed to gather steam over the weekend, generating Rs 13.30 crore to become the fifth-biggest opening weekend grosser of 2015, behind Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ (Rs 36.07 cr), Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Roy’ (Rs 28.68 cr), Varun Dhawan’s ‘Badlapur’ (Rs 23.5 cr) and ‘Tevar’ (Rs 22.05) – the film had opened on a disappointing note. As of Monday, ‘NH10′ box office collections stand at Rs 15.40 crore with Rs 2.10 crore from Day 4. Despite immense hype, ‘NH10′ – Anushka Sharma’s maiden production venture that also features the actress in the lead role – could only manage Rs 3.35 cr on Friday, Rs 4.50 cr on Saturday and Rs 5.45 cr on Sunday. The less than expected start can be attributed to the ongoing board examinations coupled with a major chunk of cinema going audience religiously following the cricket World Cup 2015 – that ‘NH10′ is burdened with an ‘A’ rating is also not helping matters any.

NH10 Tuesday Box Office Business

NH10 held up well on its first Tuesday at the Domestic Box Office. The film collected Rs 2 crores approx on Tuesday and it now stands with a total collection of Rs 17.40 crores approx at the domestic box office. NH10 has done well compared to other heroine-centric moves in the recent past. It has done almost double of what ‘Queen’ (Rs 1.80 cr) did on its opening day and much better on the first weekend as Kangana Ranaut’s managed to collect just Rs 10 crore. The film has also bettered Vidya Balan’s Kahaani (Rs 2.95 cr/Rs 13.83 cr), Kangana’s Tanu Weds Manu (Rs 3.26 cr/Rs 11.27 cr) while falling a little behind Rani Mukherje Mardaani (Rs 3.46 cr/Rs 14.46). However, NH10 has been gaining audience appreciation and what’s left to be seen is whether this will help its box office collections manage to beat other big releases of the year in the days to come.
