Manjhi Second 2nd Day Collection- Saturday Box Office Business Report

Manjhi- The Mountain Man 2nd Day Box Office Collection

Nawazuddin and Radhika Apte starrer “Manjhi-The Mountain Man” too had the same fate at the box office. The film, which had limited screen count in India, failed to garner footfalls, thus resulting in poor opening day occupancy. The film managed to earn Rs 1 crore on its first day, which is higher than director Ketan Mehta’s last release “Rang Rasiya”. But compared to “All Is Well”, “Manjhi” reviews are positive and the business is expected to increase during the weekend. The small budget film Manjhi couldn’t succeed in grabbing audiences’ major attention and pull them in theatres on Friday. The film witnessed occupancy rate of 10-12% at the Box Office, which is little poor than what Abhishek’s All Is Well witnessed. But we can’t be hard on Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Manjhi: The Mountain Man, as the film really is a small budget one with small star cast and no “Big” star power to drag the film towards glory. The film is solely depending on two very talented stars of Bollywood, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte’s shoulders.

Manjhi Saturday Box Office Business Report

Since the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer belongs to the same genre, it is a heartening sign. That said, the word of mouth and critical acclaim isn’t the same as the Tigmanshu Dhulia directed affair. In terms of %age jump, Manjhi-The Mountain Man would have a higher number to boast. However from a long run perspective, a lot would depend on how quick do the jumps come since next Friday a biggie arrives in the form of Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom. Anyhow, Second day box office collection of Manjhi- The Mountain Man is around 1.25 Crore. As it is main weekend time so the chances are full high for this flick to grab the lead on box office. We have seen audience reaction in the first day of its release that the entertainment quotient is low and the intense element is quite good. First weekend report will decide whether this flick has stood up the expectations of the film makers and audience or not.
