Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 3rd Day Collection
The latest installment of adult comedy franchise Kyaa Kool Hain Hum has released out this week and recording decent occupancy in theaters across the country. Due to its prequels, it had good pre-release hype among audience but the strong impact of opposite release Airlift, is resulting out in lesser response for it. Earlier the movie was expected to show impressive performance with youth viewers but nothing is happening in that way, no one want to skip Airlift for the sake of this adult entertainer.
Kyaa Kool Hai Hum was a franchise we sort of liked. Despite being crass, the first two films were howlarious. The puns were bang on and apart from a few flaws, they weren’t cringe attempts. But not much can be said about the third film. The trailer didn’t make us laugh at all and we were only wondering what the audience will make of it. Turns out, they didn’t find it funny at all. After a decent 8.15 cr on its first day, it slumped massively to 5.50 cr on Saturday.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#KyaaKoolHainHum3 declines on Day 2. Fri 8.15 cr, Sat 5.50 cr. Total: ₹ 13.65 cr. India biz.” It seems the cinegoers didn’t think it was comic at all, adult or no. They would rather watch something that actually serves both the elements. This perfectly proves why sequels should be made with some thought to it. Just because the first two were superhits, it doesn’t mean the franchise has to have a third one. And even if it does, some intelligent humour would have been much appreciated.
the final hopeful day Sunday saw even more modest jump of 15%. First weekend box office report show that allover collection of flick around 21+ Crores* with Sunday income of 6.50 Crores*. It is clear from this fact that the flick could not bring the expected earnings to the film makers and any special popularity or favor to the star cast. Film will drop on weekdays and now even 30-40 Crores nett lifetime numbers looks difficult which should had been the week one number. With decent budgets, this one looks to tank at box office,
