Katamarayudu 8th Day Collection, Starts its 2nd Week on a Decent Note

Last week released new offering from Telugu Cinema, Pawan Kalyan starrer Katamarayudu is now heading decently at box office across the Telugu states. The movie has been released on around 1000 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Due to huge pre-release hype, it had taken an excellent start but received mixed reviews from critics as well as audience.


As a result faced big dip in its business on the second day and started struggling to maintain a decent pace. Somehow with the support of fans, Katamarayudu managed to perform steadily through out its opening week after the first day. Katamarayudu is an official Telugu remake of superstar Ajith Kumar’s Tamil movie Veeram, which was released in 2014. Everyone found it entertaining and showed big thumbs up for Pawan Kalyan starrer.

In its first week, Katamarayudu showed overall good performance and collected the amount of total 49.85 cr, that includes 36.25 cr of weekend and 13.60 cr of weekdays. The weekend total comprises 22.25 cr of Friday, 5.10 crore of Saturday and 8.90 cr of Sunday. With almost steady performance, it minted the amount of 4 cr on Monday, 3.50 crore on Tuesday, 3.20 crore on Wednesday and 2.85 crore on Thursday.

Now the movie has entered in the second week and experiencing decent response of audience in weekend. On Friday it reported slight drop response than Thursday and raked 2.30 crore as its 8th day collection and the total box office collection of Katamarayudu will be around Rs 52.15 crore.
