7 Days Total Collection of Pawan’s Katamarayudu
Last Friday released Telugu action movie ‘Kataramarayudu’ had taken an outstanding start on box office but after that started struggling to sustain. The movie has been released with huge excitement of fans as well as audience worldwide. It has received positive reviews from critics, which was expected to result in better from next day. Katamarayudu is an official Telugu remake of superstar Ajith Kumar’s 2014 Tamil movie Veeram.
The movie also stars Shruti Haasan in the lead role. This is the second film of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan together after Gabbar Singh, which had also enjoyed a successful run at the box office. Apart from them, the movie also features Siva Balaji, Ajay, Kamal Kamaraju and Chaitanya Krishna in pivotal roles.
In its opening weekend, Katamarayudu witnessed overall good response and minted the amount of around 36.25 cr on 1500 screens across Telugu states. The weekend total includes 22.25 cr of Friday, 5.10 cr of Saturday and 8.90 cr of Sunday. With this, it has dominated the opening day record of Pawan’s last offering Sardar Gabbar Singh, that was 20.50 crores nett.
In weekdays, Kishore Kumar Pardasani’s directorial is witnessing decent footfall in theaters. On Monday it faced 55% of drop than Sunday and minted the amount of 4 crore. Then on the next day with slight more drop, it raked the business of 3.50 crore as its fifth day collection. On Wednesday it reported little drop and added 3.20 crore.
On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it witnessed slight more drop and added 2.90 crore* to its account. After one week, total collection of Katamarayudu is recorded as 49.85 crore on AP/T box office.
