The latest Telugu offering of superstar Dileep, Siddharth, Murali Gopy, Bobby Simha, and Namitha Pramod, Kammara Sambhavam has passed its opening weekend on a good note at the box office by remaining strong throughout. Not only across the Kerala states but globally, it is getting overwhelmed response from the audience.
Produced by Gokulam Gopalan, Kammara Sambhavam has impressed all the viewers with its impressive story-line and brilliant performances by the actors. As a result, it gained strong word of mouth and showed terrific performance at the box office.
Rathish Ambat’s directorial was released with huge buzz among fans and took a massive start as expected. The film witnessed houseful shows everywhere across Kerala on the opening day and did the business of 1.65 crores nett (2.07 crores gross) from approx. 424 screens.
Then on Sunday with a fair jump, Kammara Sambhavam garnered the business of 3.25 crores nett. (4.10 crores gross) and raised its opening weekend total collection to 4.90 crores nett. (6.17 crores gross). As per current trend, it seems capable to hold well on weekdays as well.
The movie tries to showcase how history can be manipulated and rewritten to suit one’s convenience. A bunch of liquor barons decides to revive the political party, Indian Liberation Party, which is relegated to obscurity.
With an aim of revoking ban on alcohol in Kerala, they bring Kammaran Nambiar (Dileep) to attain their goal and they also hire a filmmaker (Bobby Simha) to make a biopic on him. In reality, Kammaran is a man with deceitful and narcissistic nature, who is a casteist. However, he changes the lives of his villagers after falling in love with Bhanu (Namita Pramod). What follows next should be seen on-screen.
