Kabali Ninth Day Box Office Collection
Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” has come out with a solid performance at the international box office. The Tamil movie, which has made a record-breaking collection in India, is now inching towards Rs. 100-crore mark overseas. Trade reports say that “Kabali” earned $12.6 million (Rs. 84.02 crore) by the end of its first week. After getting an earth-shattering opening, the collection of Rajinikanth-starrer remained stable during the week, which helped the multilingual film do good business in its opening week. Meanwhile, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu revealed in a press meet on Thursday, July 28 that “Kabali” has collected Rs. 320 crore worldwide in six days.
He said that the business of the movie has been rock solid at the domestic as well as the international box office. “Kabali” has grossed over Rs. 60 crore in its home territory of Tamil Nadu. But the business is not up to the mark in Andhra Pradesh. “#Kabali has literally crashed at the Box-office in AP, [sic]” trade tracker Andhra Box Office tweeted. The business has also slowed down in Karnataka but the film is reportedly doing well in Kerala. It has to be noted that “Kabali” has raked in Rs. 28 crore from the North India region from three versions (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi).
Kabali has many key points for which the movie is being loved endlessly even till now. Loaded with a very talented and magnificent star cast of south India and Bollywood, movie has determined its position in the top list of successful Tamil movies of all the time. Even after facing utter competition from the latest Bollywood flick Sultan which is doing extremely well on box office, Kabali is still gaining the audience attention to great extent. Kabali is a great entertainer and has successfully established itself as a successful release of Tollywood box office. The film has done far well performance in all the parts of south plus overseas with favorable feedback and response from the audience.
Overall occupancy of Kabali is good from its first day of release. Where the film didn’t faced competition from any other Kollywood releases on the near days, it collected very awesome figures as its business till now. Accordingly, the film is doing satisfactory business even on its second week and on its 9th day of release, Kabali has done a business of around 3.75 Crores*. The movie had the great fan following over the internet before the release and that following was also seen on the release day as well. The early release trailers of film had impressed the people over the box office. The promotional campaigns of the film had done its work and that could be made out of the early earning from the promos and the songs of Kabali over the domestic box office.
