Kabali 6th Day Collection- Wednesday Performance at Chennai Box Office

Kabali Sixth Day Box Office Collection

Kabali had finished with the first weekend which was very outstanding and is now at its sixth day release over the box office. This Tamil biggie has done really great collection over the box office in the past 5 days and also today in domestic and overseas cinemas as well. Though this is also true that the Sultan and Kabali were the big clash in first weekend but later the domestic flick had the better collection over the Indian box office. As expected the movie reported gigantic opening on Friday with phenomenal occupancy. Unfortunately it has received much positive reviews from critics but still it has grossed more than 200 crores worldwide in the weekend only.

Performance wise it has shown better occupancy and response of audience but if we talk considering the trade figures then on the Indian box office Kabali had the bang as most of the people were seen at the theaters for the Rajinikanth’s new movie. Being awaited movie for all the fans of the Rajinikanth not only in the south India but all over the India and overseas as well, it did pretty well on Wednesday too. After seeing the performance of this film in its 6 days journey and also getting the fact of the clash in between now it’s time to overview the sixth day business of this venture.

Kabali has been made on a very high cost and the film has to collect big figures each day in order to manage recovering its production cost. Today it has came out as a good entertainer and has collected amenable trade with 7.50 Crores nationwide (including 1.45 crore from north). Though the film has shown big drop in the occupancy and audience response from the weekend but it is expected to return back in its form in the coming weekend. It is also being expected that Kabali may recover its cost in the first two weeks but all depends on the upcoming days and audience mood.

From overseas, it did the total business of 87 crores in the weekend plus Thursday premiers. This included 27 crores of USA/Canada, 28 crores of Malaysia/Singapore, 21 crores of UAE/GCC, 11 crores of UK plus Europe and rest of world. After a weekend, worldwide gross collection of Kabali was recorded as 215 crores with 128 crores India gross.
