Kabali 5 Days Box Offfice Collection
Rajinikanth’s Kabali has been the biggest mania across the world for the past one month. The anticipation and frenzy around the movie has been unbelievable! And the day the movie released, the response was outstanding around the world. And we aren’t even exaggerating. The movie raked in about a whopping 42 crores on its first day in India, while on the second day it collected an additional 30 crores, while on the 3rd day the movie collected about 109-110 crores approx. in India. At the worldwide box office, the movie raked in a total of 200 crores. Because of the mixed reviews, trade experts expected the collections to take a dip but the gangsta drama has done well for itself on the 4th day as it raked in reportedly 230 crores worldwide.
The movie was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi across 3500 screens in the country. As per Shreedhar Pillai, the film’s net box office collections would be roughly Rs 47 crore from Tamil Nadu, Rs 20 crore from the states of Andhra and Telangana, Rs 16 crore from Karnataka, Rs 8 crore from Kerala and Rs 19 crore from the rest of India (Hindi+Tamil versions). That comes to a total of Rs 110 crore from India in just 3 days. That means, it beat Sultan’s records which was about 100 crores in 3 days.
Rajinikanth’s performance has been appreciated by everyone and also the Tollywood charming actress Radhika Apte has added a big advantage to the film in trenching the Hindi films loving audience to watch this south Indian movie. After knowing the state of competition and performance of film now let’s look into the trade figures of flick on its fifth day of release. The film has shown well on its fifth day in overseas screens and Tuesday in spite of being a sole working day in India has brought decent occupancy for the film with a drop of around 40% from Sunday and has ended up at overall income of 11.25 Crores (Worldwide- 17.2 Cr*).
Music of Kabali is a big hit in the dominated regions due to popularity of the singers. The film is still quite away from its cost and it has to make efforts in order to make profit and recover the budget sooner. The movie is about a don in Malaysia who fights for the Tamilians there. It also stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika and Rithvika in the movie. The movie will release in Malaysia on July 29. The movie has been directed by Pa Ranjith while the music score has been composed by Santhosh Narayan.
