Kabali 11th Day Collection: 2nd Monday Business Report

Kabali 11 Days Box Office Collection

Kabali, the Rajinikanth starrer super exciting movie that was being awaited from last year finally released before last week with all the high hopes and hypes. Being such a high cost and publicized movie, it was in huge buzz among the media for its star cast and popularity. This flick created lots of expectations among the fans and also received all positive reviews from the critics and viewers as well in its journey of 11 days. It made an unbreakable opening collection at the box office in domestic as well as the overseas market.

On Friday, it faced considerable drop than previous day and minted the amount of 4.5 crores across India; including 1.15 crore of north. On Saturday, being weekend Kabali showed little rise in north but recorded drop south and did the business of 4 crores (1.25 crore of north). On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it recorded slightly higher response across the country and estimated to add the amount of 4.35 crores to its account, including 1.60 crore from north. With this, total domestic collection of Kabali will become 161.85 crores* with its Tamil, Telugu & Hindi versions.

Worldwide superstar fans have thoroughly enjoyed the movie in their own languages. Tamil films of big stars have good markets in key foreign locations. With “Kabali” being a Rajinikanth film, it opened to roaring response worldwide. Film has gained excellent fame in its first week and also it has managed to receive nice response in the second week too. Audience in the south seems still tilted towards the film due to non availability of any other big option in their regional language right now. With optimistic approach of viewers even today film has managed to collect an earnings of around 3.25 Crores* on 11th day.

Kabali is doing quite well as expected how so ever the overall performance of the film has gone much down along with the occupancy and income due to Dishoom and also that most of the audience have already seen it by now. Until no new biggie gets released in south Indian cinemas, this film will surely get a continuous advantage from this fact. It might get back into the race with the next weekend if audience still acts in its favor in the upcoming days.
