Kaabil 21st Day Collection, 3rd Tuesday Business Report


21 Days Total Collection of Hrithik’s Kaabil

The Sanjay Gupta directed actioner Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam released on 25th January in both the domestic as well as international markets. The film whose critic reviews have been positive across the board opened on a good note despite the fact that it faced competition from yet another release in the form of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees. Audience was extremely excited to watch this movie and showed great response before the pre release and to the trailers and music of the film. The film did nice business on its day one and raised many hopes for the film makers.


And on the happy note all the expectations became true from the film and it did superb business in its first weekend also.  After that the journey banged on the theaters and the love story oriented film carried on its business too much longer period of third week. Now the film has completed its long journey of 3 weeks on box office and is still making profits. Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil recorded higher slightly response than Raees and collected the amount of 17.09 crores with 11.71 crores of weekend and 5.38 crores of weekdays.

Now the movie is running in third week and minted the amount of 2.65 crores in its third weekend with 0.55 crore of Friday, 0.90 crore of Saturday and 1.20 crore of Sunday. After 19 days of release, total domestic collection of Kaabil was recorded as 101.92 crores. Once again it is in weekdays and getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On Monday the movie faced 25% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 0.42 crore*, which has made its 20 days total as 102.34 crores* from Indian screens.

On Tuesday Kaabil has been recorded low occupancy because of last Friday released Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 performing good on box office and also a weekdays so the movie collected the amount of 0.30 crore* of domestic screens. After 21 Days, total collection of Kaabil is recorded as 102.64 crore* on domestic box office.
