Judwaa 2 7th Day Collection, Varun’s Film Completes 1st Week on a Strong Note

Young-age superstars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu’s recent offering Judwaa 2 has completed it’s one week journey at box office on an excellent note. Being much awaited, this romantic comedy was released last Friday with much excitement of their fans as well as audience and as expected received favorable response them.

Remark of 1997’s Judwaa has unfortunately received mixed reviews from critics but still attracting major segment of audience toward theaters across the country. Being solo release, it is attracted major segment of audience toward theaters throughout the weekend and still has strong hold over them.

In the opening weekend, directorial David Dhawan this movie recorded very good occupancy throughout and did an impressive business of 59.25 crores from more than 3500 screens of India. The weekend total was including 16.10 crores of Friday, 20.55 crores of Saturday and 22.60 crores of Sunday. Due to strong word of mouth, Judwaa 2 remained steady in weekdays.

On Monday there was a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti, so the movie remained strong and raked the business of 18 crores. Then on Tuesday being normal working day, it faced around 55.43% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 8.05 crores. With further drop in it’s business graph, Judwaa 2 minted the amount of 6.72 crores on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie witnessed 9% of fall and garnered the business of 6.06 crores. With this, it’s one week total collection has become 98.08 crores on domestic box office. After Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Kaabil, Judwaa 2 has emerged as the eighth highest opening week grosser of 2017 so far.

Fortunately there is not any buzzed Hindi movie is being released this Friday, so Varun starrer is all set to surpass the lifetime total of Kaabil (103.84 crores).
