Film has earned more than Rs.10 crores in its opening weekend. Although it has got good reviews and ratings from the audience. “Jil” continued its magical run at the box office. Gopichand got Thumbs Up from Critics and the word of mouth publicity is also very strong. The strong word-of-mouth drove unprecedented crowds to theatres in both Telugu-speaking and non-Telugu speaking centres for the morning, matinee and evening shows. The film saw near 62 per cent occupancy at most of cinema houses and minted around Rs.4 crores on its 4th day because the today is the working day. Meanwhile, Vamsi Krishna Reddy, who has produced “Jil” with a whopping budget, is all excited over the huge response for the film. The celebration of its success has already begun at his office. He cut a huge cake on Saturdaynight and Gopichand, Raashi Khanna, Chalapathi Rao, Posani Krishna Murali and Srinivas Avasarala were present on the occasion.
