Jak Tak Song From MS Dhoni Film
The album of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has been getting the same kind of rave reviews as the trailer of the film. Amaal Malik has composed some really lilting songs, the video of one of which, Jab tak has been released today. As you are aware, Sushant Singh Rajput is playing India’s most successful captain MS Dhoni in the upcoming biopic. The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey, the man who gave us A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby. The biopic will also be starring Kiara Advani who plays Sakshi Dhoni, who of course, is ODI captain’s better half.
The new song has been picturised on the budding romance between these two characters, and will give us a glimpse of how Dhoni managed to impress his future wife, Sakshi, who was then an intern at the hotel where Dhoni was staying during one of his tours. The song has Sakshi taking Dhoni taking him to various places, but mostly getting lost in his eyes. We also get to see Dhoni’s famed bike in a couple of scenes. The song has been sung by his usual partner-in-crime and brother, Armaan Mallik. In our music review, our critic, Gaurang Chauhan, had spoken of the song like this, ‘Here is another romantic track from the album and it’s sung by Armaan Mallik.
As is the case by other love ballads sung by Armaan Mallik, this song is also on the same lines. But the duration of the song is under three minutes. therefore the song ends before I could get a hang of it. If only the song’s duration was longer than it already is…. We had earlier heard the song with Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Patani, who plays his first love in the film, Kaun Tujhe. The song was tinged with pathos and love since Dhoni’s first girlfriend gets killed in an accident.
The film is slated to release on September 30. The trailer of the film was released on August 11 and had received positive response. MS Dhoni himself presented the trailers of the movie and was even present at the various launches that took place at various cities. This will be the first time that Neeraj Pandey will be directing a biopic.
